Corrective Exercises & Rehabilitation

Corrective exercise is a short, specific home program prescribed after an exam to strengthen weak areas, restore mobility, and help your adjustments hold. At Point Chiropractic in Bend, programs are kept realistic — usually a handful of movements you can do in minutes, progressed as you improve.

Pain that keeps returning is often a loading problem. A joint gets restricted, nearby muscles compensate, and the pattern repeats until something changes the way you move. Rehabilitation is how we change it.

We do not hand out generic printouts. Your program is built from what your exam showed, coached in the office so you know it feels right, and adjusted as you get stronger.

Know What To Expect

What your care may involve

  1. Movement screen

We look at how you squat, hinge, rotate, and control your neck and shoulders to find the limiting factor.

  2. Prescription

You leave with a small number of specific exercises, sets, and cues — not an overwhelming list.

  3. Coaching

We run through each movement with you in the office so form and effort level are clear.

  4. Progression

As mobility, strength, and control improve, the program changes with you.

  5. Maintenance

We finish with the shortest routine that keeps your gains, so it actually fits your week.

Our Approach To Healing

The Point Chiropractic approach

We strive to educate our patients about their spinal health, posture, and movement so they can take an active role in maintaining their long-term health and mobility.

Doing less, consistently, beats doing more, occasionally. Every program is written with that in mind.

FAQ’s

Have A Question?

How long will my exercises take each day?

Most programs are designed to take just a few minutes. Consistency matters far more than duration.

Do I need equipment or a gym?

Usually not. Most exercises use body weight, a band, or common household items.

Will exercise make my pain worse?

Well-chosen movements should feel manageable. Some muscular fatigue is normal; sharp or worsening pain is a signal to stop and tell us.

Can I keep training while I rehab?

Often yes, with modifications. Bring your training schedule and we will work around it where it is safe to do so.
