Dr. Elise Nolte

Owner & Chiropractor

As a Chiropractor, Dr. Elise Nolte provides a wealth of knowledge on health and wellness. She enjoys working with families as she uses a ‘whole person’ approach that is individualized. Her passion is to educate, assist, and treat families to achieve a better quality of life. Dr. Elise believes this optimal healing starts from the moment one is in the womb. Dr. Elise attended the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study biology. She then went to Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota to pursue her Doctorate of Chiropractic. Along with completing her doctorate degree, Dr. Elise pursued her passion for treating pregnant women, infants, and children. She did this by seeking extra training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is Webster Certified through the ICPA to help women through their pregnancy as well.

More on Dr. Elise’s background: She grew up in La Crosse, Wisconsin with a wonderful family that always prioritized health and wellness. She knew that her path one day would be enriching the well-being of others. Dr. Elise enjoys being outside hiking and mountain biking with her husband Zach and two dogs, Copper and Henry. Maxon Griffin, Massage Therapist at Point Chiropractic in Bend, Oregon

Maxon Griffin

Massage Therapist

Maxon (“Max”) is a licensed massage therapist who combines the flowing and rhythmic qualities of Swedish massage with focused therapeutic work to create sessions that are both deeply relaxing and responsive to each client’s unique needs. His approach is intuitive and client-centered, incorporating techniques such as deep tissue, trigger point work, breathwork, and hot and cold stone therapy.

Max believes massage can be an opportunity not only to relax and address specific areas of tension, but also to become more comfortable and aware in one’s own body. He sees bodywork as an invitation to slow down, become curious about what we're experiencing, and develop a deeper connection with the body. He's especially interested in helping clients cultivate greater awareness of what their bodies are communicating.

Max’s interest in massage grew from his own exploration of strength training and yoga, which introduced him to anatomy, movement, breathwork, and embodied awareness. Outside of Point, he enjoys music and playing piano, studying Japanese language and culture, reading, practicing yoga and strength training, and spending time in Bend’s distinctive blend of city life and nature.

After taking some time away from work to focus on her family, Taya is excited to join the team at Point Chiropractic and get back to helping you feel your best!
